Nights

i love nights at my balcony, typing on my ibook, with a cup of freshly brewed green tea and the Bible beside me, Mavis Hee playing in the background (yes, have not been spinning that for so long). Nice :)


-2004- 4 years into the millenium, and what have i done with my life?

+Got Baptised, reaffirmed my relationship with God, and established myself in a church where i belong
+Learnt how to drive, fix and command a Tank, plus learnt how to deal with difficult people
+Found a bunch of friends that i know would be with me till my graying days. How precious is that?
+Learnt Japanese, improved my Teochew and picked up a smattering of Thai
+Understood the true meaning of the precious thing known as "relationships"
+Visited the capitals of East Asia: Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur
+Read close to 200 books.
+Discovered that the rule of law isn't what it seems, and learnt how to speak better
+Finally realised what i would be doing with my life

OK. Now to set goals. Hmmm. Nobody said u could only set them on New Year's day

/\ Be a part time missionary!!
/\ Learn to speak Malay and Cantonese fluently, plus improve on my Japanese
/\ Pick up a musical instrument. I'm thinking drums
/\ Get fitter. Mmm.
/\ Earn a Law degree. Can be done, can be done.
